Sea Island Builders recently completed a Mount Pleasant On the Harbor remodel and small addition to a gorgeous home that was beginning to show its age. This home was built in the 1990's and like many other in Mount Pleasant, was in need of updating. The owner's contacted Sea Island Builders after being referred by a mutual friend who is familiar with our work. After the initial phone call, we visited the job site two times before providing the owners with an initial estimate for the work. This remodel involved modifying the kitchen cabinetry to accept a new farm sink, reshaping the island and adding gorgeous custom built shelving integrated into custom made island columns, adding a pantry, adding new fireplace hearth and surround to three fireplaces, building an office using what was dead space, building a pantry addition, adding a staircase, blowing foam insulation under the home and finishing out the garage, gutting and reinventing two bathrooms, adding a media / entertainment room...the list goes on.
Overall, this remodel lasted 2.5 months from start to finish. We were able to work with the client to help determing their needs and provide them with all the pricing and information to help them make informed decisions throughout the course of the job.
