Mount Pleasant Bathroom Remodel Update 3/13/13:
Sea Island Builders is nearing completion on this spectacular bathroom remodel in Mount Pleasant. Updated photos are shown below. Pay special attention to the fine details in this photo. Unique finishes such as the slab seat in the shower, the slabs in the bottom of the niches, the slab threshold, and slab pediments under the vanity towers are just a few of the unique high end touches that have been added to this project. The shower slabs all gently slope into the shower to allow for proper drainage, while the lack of grout joints lead to a better seal where the glass will form an edge. The slab pediment under the bathroom tower will prevent water from ever building up against the wood, a situation that over time, always leads to deterioration in the finished product. We started this project a week ago and forgot to take pictures! These photos are one week in to the job. We removed the old hardwoods and saved them for re-use in the new master closet. The old shower has already been removed, tile and all, and the new walls framed in. All the old cabinets, toilet, sink, etc has already been removed. Stay tuned to see more pictures as this Mount Pleasant bathroom remodel progresses.
This shower is going to have two niches, a handheld mounted on an adjustable arm bar, and a conventional head. All the selections have been made and material ordered and scheduledfor delivery. We always make sure to take care of the long lead items first and keep our clients informed so that they can do their part and not delay the job.
