Mount Pleasant Bathroom Renovation -
The owners of this lovely home in the Creekside neighborhood of Mount Pleasant, contacted Sea Island Builders in regards to their bathroom renovation project after being referred by a friend whom had previous experience in working with Sea Island Builders. The client had several issues with the old bathroom. The hardwood floors that existed were beginning to lose their finish and the years of water damage was beginning to show. This, coupled with a very strange layout with each room having its own sink. In the corner was an old shower tub. Just nothing to get excited about. After measuring the space, a floorplan was developed and presented to the clients. Included is what you can now see in the pictures below.
The old shower tub has been replaced with a jacuzzi undermount tub. New tile exists throughout the bathroom in place of the old hardwoods. A walk-in shower with frameless glass enclosure equipped with both a rain head and adjustable handheld with a corner bench seat and nich for storage complete the space.
To add to it, a new vanity cabinet made of stained cherry is seen in place of the old cabinet box. In the middle sits a 18" tower which brings much needed storage for the owners. To top it off, the owners decided to use a marble tile to match the super white granite countertops, which look great together. The tub surround is also a polished super white granite.
