Sullivans Island Modern Beach Home Remodel

Sea Island Builders recently completed this expansive two phase beach home remodel to a custom beach front home on Sullivan's Island. The total project last nearly 7 months and was completed in two phases of construction. The first phase of this custom home remodel involved the top floor of the home. The master suite resides on the top floor. The suite including the bathroom and closet were very outdated. Leaking non functional doors were replaced with new sliding Anderson doors leading from the master bedroom suite out onto the porch. The master bathroom shower, tub, surround, and wood flooring were removed. The bathroom was redone with a frameless glass shower enclosure and new tile for the walls, floor, and tub surround. A new toilet was installed as well. The outdated master closet system was removed and replaced with a modern adjustable closet system that was custom designed. Phase Two of this Sullivans Island modern beach home remodel was the most expansive part of this custom renovation project. The spaces the owner wanted to renovate included the entire first floor; kitchen, bathrooms, living room, bedrooms, the entire thing! To add to this, the owners decided that the ground floor bathroom needed updating as well. The owner wanted modern and wanted unique. We immediately began the brainstorming to determine how far they wanted to go with the remodel work and formulated a working budget for the project. Finally, the team decided that a Nanawall would be great along with a three sided fireplace as the focal point of the living room. The ultra modern cabinetry in the kitchen with LED lighting is a really modern feature. Walls were removed, reframed, bathrooms deassembled and put back together, and the finished product is an absolutely fabulous Sullivans Island modern beach home remodel. >>Click here for high res photos<<
